About us: We are a non-government organisation, offering specialist support services for anyone affected by sexual violence, whether recently or in the past. We are the largest provider of sexual violence support services in Wales, and the leading provider of specialist sexual violence training.
We started life nearly 30 years ago as a volunteer-led support line for rape victims in Merthyr Tydfil. Over the last 3 decades, our services have grown to include advocacy, therapeutic and support services for adults, young people and children. Our frontline roles include crisis workers, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), sexual violence support workers and specialist counsellors.
We believe that our clients deserve the best possible service, and we work hard to achieve this. If you think that you have the skills and qualities that we are looking for, then we would love to hear from you.
About you: You will share our aims and embody New Pathways’ ethos and values. We are looking for people who are motivated, enthusiastic, passionate about our work, and who want to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
You will be someone who likes to engage with and support others so they can get the best out of their experience, have great organisational skills and good emotional intelligence. Continual improvement will be an innate part of your approach and you will thrive as an important part of our committed team.
